I know how dark things can look
Divorced Single Mom, In Debt & No Savings
If you had looked at my finances after my divorce, you would have said things do not look good at all. And you would have been right.
I had no savings, was tens of thousands of dollars in debt, and had a credit score in the tank.
But thanks to a financial planner who helped me create a plan for my particular life and circumstances, I was able turn my financial picture around very quickly.
I Just Had to Work the Plan
In just under 4 years, I paid off $39k of student loan debt. I was able to also build a multiple five figure emergency fund and a multiple six-figure net worth. I also raised my credit score from the low 500s back into the 800s!
It wasn’t easy. I worked hard to keep my expenses as low as possible while bringing in as much extra money as I could.
The road might not have been easy, but it was so worth it.
Now, as an Accredited Financial Counselor®, I educate, equip, and serve busy women so they can master their finances and live freely, no matter what stage of life they’re in. I work with them to maximize their money so they can find the same financial freedom!
My mission is to empower them to approach money confidently, reframe their financial habits, and build a future where their money is a tool for opportunity and security.
